Moonchild Nature School teaches principles of permaculture, biomimicry and holistic wellness through land access projects, popular education circles and creative facilitation. Moonchild Nature School is a learning community where nature is the classroom, nature is the co-facilitator and often, nature is the source of our study materials. Our methodology is to use emergent and inquiry-based approach to education, reinforcing practices of inclusion, cooperation, design, preservation and community using a project- or residency-based delivery for students of all ages.
- Moonchild Nature School offers self-paced, virtual learning journeys in core areas such as Kemetic Yoga + Breathwork, Chakra; Astrology; and Biomimicry/Elementals
- Moonchild Nature School creates space for experiential learning, through play, art + inquiry, group practices and creative projects. Our work intersects largely with science, technology, art and math (STEAM) in order to provide the most holistic experience for real-world application.
- Moonchild Nature School reaches various types of students through an equitable, multi-modal approach being mindful that not everyone learns the same or has the same needs. That in mind, we build a brave space where the quietest of voices can be heard.
For our in-person programs, you’ll find us on farms, in urban outdoor spaces, by rivers, trekking through forests and near scenic byways in order to support our students establish a reciprocal relationship with the land and to create an understanding of themselves as part of the natural world. For our virtual programs, we gather for inside of our private student-only Discord server for self-paced access to videos, tools, guided practices, resources and worksheets.

On the journey of seeking my purpose, I came to learn about the stories, traditions, cultures and spiritual practices of my ancestors – the indigenous keepers of Mother Earth and the enslaved Afrakans shipped around the world against their will. Although treated as property, these were human luminaries sharing their wisdom and gifts as farmers, engineers, medicine people, herbalists, scientists, spiritual advisors, entrepreneurs to name a few. They shaped the world we live in today, astounding us with their advanced spiritual technologies and universal understandings. They learned Mother Nature’s ways, mimicking divine design as they co-created with God and they sought balance in every aspect of their life. They left a sacred blueprint that is now more important than ever. We can shape a new normal – each with our own special sauce – and the universe will rise to support us. Whether you consider yourself to be a spiritual sojourner or curious student – may you find belonging here as we build a life of our wildest imagination + restore sacred connection, individual to planetary.
